As the CEO of Rogue Preservation Services, based in Indianapolis, Kaila brings over a decade of experience in exhibit installation, design, and community advocacy to her work. Kaila’s journey began in the museum field, where she specialized in telling the stories of Black and Brown communities through powerful exhibits across the Midwest. Recognizing the need for a deeper, more grassroots approach, she transitioned to painting, advocacy, and heritage preservation in her hometown. Her work has since gained national recognition, earning her awards and partnerships with prestigious institutions like the Smithsonian Institute, National Parks Service, and Library of Congress.
